Meet the Chairs!

Director: Karin Kanazawa

Hi! My name is Karin Kanazawa and I will be serving as the director for the Beginner 1 committee this year! I am in my second year of high school at Senzoku Gakuen, and I have been in the school’s MUN club for five years. Other than the MUN club, I am also in the science club.

This year’s beginner 1 topic, education, can be a complicated, yet interesting topic to discuss. I hope that this conference will allow all delegates to discover new perspectives by thinking about the issues around education!

Mirai Ogino

Hello, I’m Mirai, and I am very excited to meet all the delegates participating in JMMUN 2025! I hope I can support you all and help everyone, especially those who might be nervous about using English. If there’s anything I can help with, please feel free to ask!

Reina Otsu

Hello! My name is Reina Otsu, and I will be serving as the chair of the Beginner 1 committee at JMMUN 2025. This is my third time being a part of JMMUN’s beginner committee, and I am very excited to be so!! I hope you’ll enjoy JMMUN, and we’re looking forward to seeing you all at the conference!

Rina Shimada

Hello, I’m Rina Shimada and I’m very excited to chair for the Beginner 1 committee this year! I’m a non-returnee student and this is my fourth year of MUN experience. I’m looking forward to meeting all delegates and hearing good solutions for the topic of children’s access to education!

Nana Adachi

Hello, I’m Nana Adachi in 9th grade, and I will be serving as the chair of the Beginner 1 committee. This is my first time participating in JMMUN as a chair, and I’m excited and eager to take on this honorable role. I’m looking forward to meeting all of you, delegates!!
