Background Guide
Meet the Chairs!
Director: Risa Miki
Hi! My name is Risa Miki, and I will be your Intermediate 1 director for JMMUN 2025. I am a sophomore at Senzoku Gakuen, and I have been involved in the school’s Model United Nations club for around four years. Our committee’s topic this year is “Equal Opportunities for Women in the Workforce.” Although this is a frequently discussed topic, with new statistics and controversies, I hope to see new perspectives being shared in the conference! Aside from my interest in our committee topic, I have a passion for music, dance, and science. I’m so excited to meet you all in March!
Saya McCarthy

I believe in the power of each delegate’s voice to inspire real change as we address pressing issues for women in the workforce. I hope that passion, perspective, and understanding will guide all delegates toward a commitment to addressing these challenges.
