Director: Miu Someya
Hi, I’m Miu Someya, and I will be serving as the Director for the Advanced committee at JMMUN 2026. I lived in the UK for 7 years during my childhood, and I am currently a member of the MUN club and the dance club. I have been involved in JMMUN as a member of the Press Team in 2024, as well as a CSTD Chair at JMMUN 2025.
ECOFIN always tackles complex issues at the core of the global economy, and this year’s agenda is no exception. With trade and taxation becoming increasingly politicized in today’s world, it is essential to consider how nations can balance national interests with international cooperation to ensure global economic stability.
I hope this year’s conference will be a valuable and memorable experience for you all, and I look forward to seeing you in March!
