WHAT IS JMMUN?

Japan Metropolitan Model United Nations is one of the largest student-run high school conferences in Japan. For nine years, JMMUN has continued to grow, expanding to host over 30 schools and nearly 350 delegates from within Japan and countries abroad.

Our goal in JMMUN is to help spread Model United Nations across to our global neighbors. With committees divided by levels based on MUN experience and English abilities, delegates who have little to no MUN experience or are not confident in English will be provided with guidance throughout the conference on procedures in both English and Japanese. We also have an advanced level committee for anyone wanting to challenge themselves.

All committees in the 2024 conference will be held in person at Senzoku Gakuen Junior Senior High School.
